Responsibilities:
Assemble, install, maintain, and repair facility and production electrical systems Layout, install, alter, and repair electrical wiring, communication, and control systems Support troubleshooting circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, inverters, and automatic transfer switches Fabricate special ‑ purpose units for electrical measurement, control, and communication systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance specifications Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs per approved specifications Perform electrical troubleshooting on equipment and systems Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life Support process control instrumentation and develop standard operating procedures for production employees Maintain required technical, maintenance, and compliance records Follow and support Siemens safety rules, policies, and best practices Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
Completion of a relevant Trade School program or a field ‑ related AAS degree 3 to 5 years of industrial electrical experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codesPreferred Qualifications:
Having hands ‑ on experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) State Licensed Journeyman Electrician Showing strong electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing setting Having working technical knowledge of: Electricity Process control instrumentation Writing standard work instructions Manufacturing and process equipment Welding and fabrication Piping systems Personal computing Being safety focused and detail oriented Working well in a startup or changing manufacturing environment Communicating clearly with operations, maintenance, and engineering teamsAbout Siemens:
