Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and industry regulations, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from blueprint reading to troubleshooting complex electrical issues, while collaborating with a team dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residental, commercial and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise electrical installations. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete wiring tasks on construction sites or existing facilities. Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately. Ensure all work adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local safety regulations. Troubleshoot high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, performing necessary repairs or replacements. Collaborate with homeowners, construction teams, frame carpenters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician in residental, industrial or commercial environments. Strong knowledge of electrical systems including high voltage, low voltage, and schematics reading. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics interpretation. Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and OSHA standards. Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate them into practical installations or repairs. Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Electrical experience involving troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as multimeters or ammeters. Experience working with low voltage systems such as security alarms or communication wiring is a plus. Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required by construction environments.
