$50,376.00 - $57,573.00
Full Salary Range :

Role:
The Water Plant Electrician assembles, installs, tests, maintains, and repairs electrical systems within water treatment facilities and distribution stations.
Key responsibilities include:
Installing and maintaining electrical circuits, breaker equipment, motor control centers, fixtures, and appliances Diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning equipment using schematics, prints, manuals, and test equipment Working on motors, pumps, transformers, analytical water-quality equipment, and low-, medium-, and high-voltage wiring Using the computerized maintenance management system to process work requests, document repairs, parts used, and labor hours Following verbal, written, and electronic instructions while maintaining safe work practices This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) This role requires physical stamina and adaptability, including bending, stooping, crawling, climbing ladders, lifting up to 100 pounds , and working in inclement weather, noisy, and dirty environments.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma /GED Or and equivalency of No High School Diploma, with at least 3 years of High School education, "Plus" 8+ years of documented electrical experience. 4+ years of documented commercial electrical experience Valid driver's license Microsoft Office experience Ability to obtain licenses within 18 months of hire date : Forklift license
NC Electrician License Trenching License Preferred Qualifications:
NC Electrical License Previous documented experience working with or around commercial/industrial equipment Prior computerized work-order experience
