LOOKING FOR COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIANS & FOREMEN IN THE RALEIGH, NC AREA!
Job Overview We are seeking skilled and dedicated Commercial Electricians & Helpers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems and a strong understanding of both high and low voltage applications, and preferrably hold OSHA-10 or ODHA-30. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, using various electrical tools, and performing installations and repairs in commercial or industrial settings. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment according to specifications and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other hand tools to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Work on both high voltage and low voltage systems as required by the project specifications. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time while ensuring quality workmanship. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed.
Requirements :
Proven experience as an industrial/commercial electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety practices. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications related to electrical installations. Familiarity with using hand tools and specialized equipment for electrical work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve project goals. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Previous experience as a maintenance person is considered an asset but not mandatory.
