Job Description

Position Summary:
As a Detail Tech, you will work alongside industry experts to ensure the successful completion of all installations. More specifically, you will support production/area managers by assisting multiple assigned superintendents in preparing houses for stage completion for each trade as applicable. Most importantly, as a Detail Tech you will be responsible for completing assigned punch items that will ensure each stage is ready to pass formal inspections. The ideal candidate would be experienced in the trades, driven, deadline oriented, and will have a strong desire to grow and learn in a fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist assigned production/area manager in preparing trade stage completion for multiple superintendents in assigned region(s). Transport materials to job sites across multiple areas. Complete punch list tasks and repairs as assigned by production/area manager or superintendents. Assist superintendents in ensuring sub crews have completed any assigned punch items well and on time. Assists trainees in troubleshooting issues that might be beyond a trainee's level of expertise and solves issues accordingly and in collaboration with superintendent. As needed, assist superintendents in performing detailed walkthroughs to assess if installations are done correctly and meet standards and generate an initial list for superintendents to be aware of the status of installation. Learn and remain up to date with basic codes, regulations, and requirements as it applies to each specific neighborhood or municipality. Read and interpret blueprints to understand electrical installations and layouts. When necessary, assist with service calls. When requested, collaborate with the development department to train trainees to gain the knowledge and skills needed to advance from a trainee to a superintendent. Actively check and respond to electronic communications. Primary qualifications Prior experience with electrical in residential, required. License in the trade preferred but not required. Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with little supervision. Driven to grow and open to feedback. $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
