The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience in residential and/or light commercial work, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to complete jobs safely, correctly, and efficiently. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Position is W-2 employment Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and/or commercial settings Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine safe, effective solutions Install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, breakers, and related components Install EV charger systems (Tesla and other residential/commercial charging stations), including wiring, breakers, and proper circuit sizing Perform service calls and electrical diagnostics Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and local electrical regulations Test electrical systems to ensure proper function and safety Maintain clean and organized work areas and company vehicles Communicate clearly with customers regarding work performed and needed repairs Properly document job details, materials used, and completed work Skills Required Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently on-site Familiarity with electrical tools, testing equipment, and materials Understanding of electrical codes and safety standards Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Good time management and organizational skills Requirements Must have prior electrical experience (required) Must be able to understand and follow direct instructions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and physically demanding environments Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented Ability to lift 50+ lbs Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety Preferred Qualifications Experience in residential service electrical work Experience with panel upgrades and generator connections Experience with EV charger installations Knowledge of smart home or low-voltage systems Work Expectations Maintain professionalism on all job sites Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Follow company procedures for staging materials and job preparation Keep work vehicles and job sites clean and organized
