Job Description

Wilson & Cofield Electric Service Inc. is seeking a skilled industrial electrician with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of installation and alteration of building electrical systems in an industrial background including medium voltage distribution gear, secondary voltage gear, and installing power supply wiring and conduit (i.e. EMT, rigid conduit, OCAL, MC Cable, PVC, strut, and cable tray systems). Experience in Water/Wastewater Industry preferred but not required.
Responsibilities :
  • Lead a crew through exemplary discipline and detail-oriented focus
  • Communicates effectively with management in proficient English
  • Interprets plans with no difficulty
  • Comfortable ordering materials that adhere to the two-week lookahead planning for job
Required Skills & Abilities :
  • Underground raceway installation
  • Overhead conduit installation (including
EMT, GRC, IMC
from ½" to 4")
  • Branch wire sorting and pulling
  • Branch terminations on source and device/fixture side
  • Lighting fixture installation
  • Panelboard and switchgear installation
  • Motor control centers and motor installation
  • Use of variety of tools and equipment including but not limited to: o Power construction equipment o Measuring devices o Power tools o Testing equipment (e.g. circuit tracers, volt meters, megger, proximity tests, ohmmeters)
  • Proficient in English language for speaking, reading, and writing

Expected Pay Rate :
Based upon experience
Pay:
$28.50 - $34.00 per hour
