Job Description

Machine Specialties, Inc. (MSI) is a leading contract machining and metal finishing specialist that designs and manufactures sophisticated, cost-effective solutions to meet our clients' most demanding challenges. Our company located in Whitsett, NC, is about 8 miles outside of Greensboro, NC. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance Team and service the mechanical operations throughout our facility. You will respond to requests for electrical repairs and breakdowns as well as perform routine maintenance and upgrade equipment as necessary. Candidates must know how to troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and make adjustments or repairs if they are not working properly. The ideal candidate will be a background in CNC Machining and electrical knowledge around it.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impacted Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other electrical equipment Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule Utilize and store all equipment properly
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in electrical engineering technology preferred Valid electrician license in good standing 3+ years of experience working as an electrical technician Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment Able to read blueprints and technical drawings Proficient with manual and power tools Familiar with code requirements and company safety regulations If you meet these requirements and are interested in applying, please submit an updated copy of your resume to the email address below.
