Full Job Description Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Perform electrical installations according to local and national electrical codes (NEC)
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and malfunctions
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning
- Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to electrical systems
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial electrician
- Proficient in various aspects of electrical work, including but not limited to:
- Build and frame carpentry related to electrical installations
- Industrial electrician work in commercial settings
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Working with high voltage systems
- Using hand tools specific to the electrical trade
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools specific to the electrical trade
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
