Low Voltage Electrician- $22•34/hr (Hiring ASAP!
Shift :
M-F 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Job Description Install & test audio/video and paging systems Pull cable through floors, ceilings, walls, and ductwork Dress, label & terminate CAT5/6, fiber, coax, AV, fire alarm, security, access control Install racks, trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF systems & workstation outlets Perform firestopping, conduit work & basic power testing Help with cleanup and material handling on active job sites At least 2 years of low voltage cable pulling experience. Experience with access control systems, including installation and wiring, is a plus. Experience with CCTV systems and related equipment is a bonus. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a 100% field-based position with work performed at customer sites such as schools, hospitals, small businesses, strip malls, entertainment venues, and auditoriums. Travel is required occasionally, particularly for larger projects such as summer school work, where crews may travel on a rotating basis for approximately one week per month. The role involves working on active construction or renovation sites, using tools and equipment for cable pulling, conduit installation, rack and tray mounting, and system testing. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00- $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
