Job Description

Position Description:
Responsible for ensuring inventory transactions are processed through the inventory system and that all required documents and invoices are processed/provided to customers and filed away for future reference.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Match bills of lading with scale tickets emailed to us by Customers or Omaha Track yards Process/Update shipments in the inventory system with the delivered information pulled from the bills of lading and scale tickets to receive the inventory into the inventory system or generate Customer invoices. Attach the supporting documents in the OTis system. Assist the Director of Key Contracts in finding and adding missing supporting documents into the OTis system Assist the Senior Customer Care Coordinator with customer Invoicing done through the inventory system Create and maintain digital project and accounts receivable files (including bill of ladings, freight bills, invoices, etc.) and scan the documentation to our Microsoft SharePoint Review railyard paperwork to ensure all transactions have been processed accurately Contact field crews regarding variances and missing paperwork Assist field crews with project related questions Process Tie Grinding activity and generate associated material grading reports and invoices
Qualifications and Requirements:
Associates degree in business related field or equivalent work experience is required Previous experience in the railroad industry or tracking inventory is a plus Strong computer skills including experience with SUMIF and VLOOKUP functions in Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated initiative to proactively seek out work, complete tasks, and follow-up on outstanding items Demonstrated ability to think critically and prioritize tasks appropriately Omaha Track, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.
