This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, and safety procedures, ensuring all work complies with local regulations and industry standards. As a key contributor to our projects, you will deliver high-quality electrical solutions that support operational efficiency and safety. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, including low-voltage systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring layouts. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and implement effective solutions. Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards, local electrical codes, and NEC guidelines for safety and compliance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installations efficiently. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems using schematics, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming knowledge, and diagnostic techniques. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Skills Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with expertise in residential, industrial and commercial electrical systems. Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes. Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Experience with high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, and industrial electrical infrastructure. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprint reading for installation planning. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and renovation procedures. Hand tool proficiency including wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, drills, and other power tools. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently on complex electrical systems.
