Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role requires a dependable professional who possesses a solid background in commercial and industrial electrical work. Candidates should take pride in delivering high quality workmanship and maintain strict adherence to industry safety standards and electrical codes. The ideal candidate is capable of working independently, contributing to team projects, and mentoring apprentices to support their development. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and occasionally residential setting Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Execute electrical installations in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, panel installations, device wiring, and terminations Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools (e.g. multimeters) Ensure all work complies with National Electric Code (NEC) and local regulations Mentor and support apprentices through hands-on training and guidance Maintain a safe and organized work environment on job sites at all times Collaborate effectively with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure project success Qualifications & Skills Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state specific as required) Background and experience in Fire Alarm and low-voltage systems (preferred) Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical systems and installations Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical plans Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
