As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects — always safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Leadership that listens and invests in its people. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications. Install conduit, wire, lighting, panels, switchgear, and other electrical equipment. Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently. Ensure all work complies with the NEC and local electrical codes. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, customers, and team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site. Mentor apprentices and help develop less experienced electricians. Accurately document completed work and material usage. Qualifications Required Valid Journeyman Electrician license. Experience installing and repairing electrical systems. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Valid driver's license. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience with commercial and industrial electrical construction. Experience operating lifts and other construction equipment. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds. Stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely perform the physical demands of electrical construction.
