Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Electrician with a valid NH Journeyman (JM) license to join our dynamic electrical team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial and commercial electrical work, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, precision, and quality. As a key contributor to our projects, you will ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and standards while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments, ensuring adherence to local electrical codes and NFPA 70 standards. Diagnose electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise wiring and installation tasks. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and work on industrial electrical systems with safety as a top priority. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring, conduit installation, and system upgrades. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures; implement corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople during construction or renovation projects. Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents or injuries on construction sites or within facilities. Assist in the installation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems integral to industrial automation. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and compliance reports. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Extensive commercial electrician experience with knowledge of commercial electrical systems installation and maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements for safe electrical installations. Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and working on renovation projects. Construction site experience including framing carpentry skills or handyman experience is advantageous. Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems, schematics interpretation, and the use of testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
