Hours Per Week Project Duration:
4-6 Months (Current Assignment) The Opportunity We are actively seeking experienced Industrial Journeyman Electricians local to the South Jersey region to support a major industrial project in Vineland, NJ. This is a full-time, project-based opportunity offering consistent overtime and long-term potential for dependable, high-performing electricians. Strong performers will be considered for continued work on future industrial and commercial projects throughout the South Jersey region. Job Overview The Industrial Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across industrial and commercial environments. This role requires strong field experience, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. Candidates should be comfortable working on active industrial construction sites and performing a wide range of electrical installation and troubleshooting duties. Scope of Work Fire alarm system installation Industrial controls work and terminations Rigid conduit installation including cutting, bending, and threading Pulling wire and cable Installing cable tray systems and supports Troubleshooting electrical systems and components Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Installing and maintaining low-voltage and industrial power systems Utilizing meters and testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues Supporting industrial electrical upgrades and new construction installations Maintaining compliance with NEC standards and site safety requirements Qualifications Journeyman-level electrical experience required Strong industrial electrical background preferred Experience with rigid conduit and industrial terminations required Familiarity with fire alarm systems, controls work, and industrial installations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Experience using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, ohmmeters, and testing equipment Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation systems is a plus Working knowledge of NEC standards and industrial safety protocols OSHA 10 preferred (OSHA 30 is a plus) Must be local to the South Jersey / Franklinville, NJ region Reliable transportation required Ability to work overtime and maintain dependable attendance What We Offer Consistent overtime (60 hours/week) Long-term project pipeline for strong performers Opportunity to work on large-scale industrial projects Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Options PTO Eligibility Stable local work with a growing contractor Ideal Candidate We are looking for electricians who take pride in craftsmanship, work safely, and can contribute positively to a fast-paced industrial project team.
