Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.
We are looking for a skilled, dependable, and experienced Electrician with 5 or more years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. You'll work independently and alongside other coworkers to deliver safe, code-compliant electrical work on time and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, outlets, switches, panels, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical specifications to plan and execute electrical work Inspect and test electrical systems to identify faults, hazards, and code violations, ensuring all work meets NEC and local code standards Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime for clients. Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and other trades to coordinate electrical work within project timelines. Document work completed, materials used, and job progress through accurate and timely reporting. Follow all workplace safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies on every job site. Skills 5+ years of field experience in electrical installation and repair Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from company location Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple job sites OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
