Electrician

Electrician Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Construction Electrician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, follow electrical codes, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Install electrical systems, wiring, conduit, fixtures, panels, and equipment on construction sites Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings to plan installations Run conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid), pull wire, and terminate connections Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on job sites Install and maintain lighting, controls, and power distribution systems Follow all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations Collaborate with other trades (plumbers, HVAC, carpenters) to support project completion Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred 5+ years of experience in construction electrical work (commercial/residential/industrial) Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and installation techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Linden, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
