Job Description

We are seeking a 1st shift Senior Electrician to support and lead electrical maintenance activities within a modern industrial manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to mentor and guide other electricians while ensuring reliable operation of facility and production equipment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of electricians while promoting safe work practices. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and electrical repairs. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Support lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash, and electrical safety compliance programs. Assist with electrical system studies, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize computerized maintenance systems to document work and manage inventory. Qualifications New Jersey Class A Journeyman Electrician License (required). Strong knowledge of
NEC, OSHA, NFPA
70E and industrial electrical safety practices. Experience with 120/208/480V AC three-phase systems and 12/24V DC systems. Proficiency in EMT conduit installation and bending. Ability to troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and control systems. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi). Electrical Technology, Engineering, or related technical degree is a plus. Experience with hydraulics and industrial automation is preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
