What they do
An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical system Must be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed. Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen. Must be 18 years of age or olderPreferred:
Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Outside most of the time. Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures Limited working surfaces Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors Exposure to areas with limited visibility Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights) Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks If driving is required, a valid driver's license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
