Panel Shop Entry Level Technician Job Summary Join our team as a Panel Shop Entry Level Technician . This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop hands-on skills in electrical panel building and wiring. You will work closely with experienced technicians to learn how to build, wire, and assemble industrial electrical control panels. This is an entry-level position, and no prior panel-building experience is required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and takes pride in their work. Responsibilities Assist in the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels according to drawings, schematics, and specifications Mount electrical components, wire duct, DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays, power supplies, PLC components, and other devices Cut, strip, terminate, label, and route electrical wiring Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly Assist with drilling, cutting, and preparing electrical enclosures Apply wire labels, terminal labels, and component identification Perform basic continuity checks and electrical testing under supervision Verify wiring and component installation against drawings and specifications Assist with panel inspections, testing, and quality control Assist with receiving, organizing, and maintaining materials and inventory Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow company safety procedures and work practices Perform other duties as assigned based on company needs Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred No previous panel-building experience required Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to safely use or learn to use hand tools and power tools Interest in electrical work, automation, controls, or industrial equipment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Willingness to learn new skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous electrical, construction, fabrication, mechanical, or similar hands-on experience is a plus but is not required.
