FULL-TIME, YEAR-ROUND
Ski Santa Fe Santa Fe, NM Ski Santa Fe is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our year-round mountain operations team. This full-time position offers competitive pay (up to $55/hour BOE) and excellent benefits. Located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, our base lodge sits at 10,350 ft, with a summit elevation of 12,075 ft. Work takes place indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Position Overview The Electrician supports daily operations by maintaining, installing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems throughout the ski area. Candidates should have strong low-voltage experience and a solid understanding of high-voltage systems. An electrical license is required. Key Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components across the ski area Maintain lift systems, facilities, lighting, snowmaking equipment, and infrastructure Perform low-voltage work including controls, communications, and system wiring Support high-voltage maintenance under team direction Work safely and efficiently in challenging mountain conditions Participate in year-round maintenance and seasonal startup/shutdown tasks Collaborate closely with the Mountain Operations and Maintenance teams, including the existing Electricians. Qualifications Electrical license required 5 plus years experience Strong low-voltage background (controls, sensors, communications systems) Solid understanding of high-voltage systems Ability to work outdoors in snow, wind, and cold Comfort working at heights, at high elevation, and on variable terrain Industrial, commercial, or ski industry experience a plus • Must be able to pass a background check Benefits Work in a unique, high-alpine environment with a dedicated team Medical Dental Vision Company paid life insurance
