Good. We're not looking for someone who just needs a job. We're looking for an experienced residential electrician who's ready for a better one. Mel Carr Electric has been serving the Capital Region for 50 years . Now we're looking for one experienced Service Electrician to join us.

$35+/hour PLUS commission. Our compensation structure gives experienced service electricians the opportunity to earn $80,000-$120,000+ annually. 100%

WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY IS
You'll run residential electrical service calls throughout the Capital Region. You'll diagnose problems, talk with homeowners about their options, make recommendations, and complete high quality electrical repairs and installations. This isn't new construction. This isn't spending every day pulling wire on the same jobsite. And you won't be left on an island. You'll have a professional customer service and dispatch team scheduling your calls and supporting you throughout the day.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You should have: 3+ years of residential electrical experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills The ability to confidently run residential service calls independently Pride in clean, professional electrical work Good communication skills with homeowners A valid driver's license A desire to keep learning and getting better You don't need to know everything. You do need to be a good electrician, care about your work, and want to be part of a professional team.
