Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential & commercial facilities, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems. Read and interpret electrical blueprints & schematics Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues swiftly and precisely. Maintain and repair residential & commerical electrical, ex. services, EV chargers, smart T-stats, parking lot lightings, contactors, transformers, surge suppressions, generators, 120/240v & 277/480v systems Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code) Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or within existing facilities. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks Perform routine electrical maintenance to prevent system failures and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with project teams during construction or renovation projects to ensure timely completion of electrical installations. Document all work performed through detailed reports, logs, and compliance records. Experience Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician in residential & commercial environments with a strong understanding of electrical systems installation and maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams confidently. Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, low voltage systems Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and relevant electrical building codes. Bucket truck operations/ parking lot lighting experience Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements while maintaining safety standards.
