Job Description

Overview We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Industrial Electrician at specialized zinc and graphite mines. Located within 2-hour drive of The Thousand Islands, Lake Ontario shoreline, the Adirondack Mountains and world class skiing at Lake Placid. Explore Canada with Montreal and Ottawa only 2-3 hours away. Responsibilities Work with all crews sitewide to support continued production. Tasks could be, but not limited to Run cable/wire/communication; Mount J-boxes, control boxes, switches boxes - mechanical installation; Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including PLC panels, drives, motors, pumps, and generators; Work with 4-20 m

up to 480v, 5kva, DC voltages Read and follow prints; Test/troubleshoot circuits, motors, fans, controller, VFDs, transformers; Complete all terminations and splicing, incl. high voltage splices; Capacity to develop knowledge of hoisting/crushing operations - troubleshoot same; Qualifications Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial electrical experience; Authorized to work in the US PLC experience; DC/AC/Drive experience; Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his/her duties in a safe and efficient manner; Must be able to perform the work without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others due to the safety sensitivity of tasks; Join us if you're ready to energize your career by working on impactful projects that keep industries running smoothly!

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
