Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical systems in our construction materials operations. Reporting to Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management, you'll support reliable operation of motors, controls, and production equipment while following strict safety and environmental standards. You'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical issues, and assist with equipment upgrades. Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical systems, motors, and controls in a heavy construction materials environment Perform preventive and predictive electrical maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals to diagnose issues and plan repairs Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of new electrical equipment and control systems Apply strict safety practices including Lockout/Tagout and

standards in all tasks Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve chronic equipment issues Document work in a CMMS, including parts used, cause of failure, and corrective actions Assist in energy efficiency and reliability improvement projects across the plant Participate in safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Provide occasional off-shift or on-call support for critical plant operations Required Skills Industrial electrical maintenance Reading electrical schematics PLC troubleshooting Motor control systems Variable frequency drives (VFDs) Preventive and predictive maintenance Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
