Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrician Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support licensed electricians in various tasks related to electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field, particularly in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Duties Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and layouts. Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools safely and effectively. Help with the installation of high voltage and low voltage wiring systems. Participate in construction site activities while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions. Experience Previous experience or coursework in electrical work is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including both high voltage and low voltage applications. Experience using power tools safely on construction sites is advantageous. A strong desire to learn from experienced commercial electricians is essential. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
