Industrial Electrical Technician Employment Type :
Full-time Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Technician on behalf of our client to join their technical maintenance team at a major manufacturing facility in Ravena, NY. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, this role is critical to maintaining continuous operations, troubleshooting complex plant systems, and ensuring maximum operational efficiency across the facility and quarry. Key Responsibilities
    Maintenance & Repair:
    Dismantle, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble complex industrial electrical, mechanical, and mobile equipment in compliance with MSHA and plant safety standards.
      Preventive Inspections:
      Perform routine proactive inspections, log equipment history, and complete preventive maintenance work orders in the computerized system.
        Safety & Compliance:
        Active participant in Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and Joint Health & Safety Committee initiatives.
          Diagnostics & Continuous Improvement:
          Identify operational, environmental, and safety concerns; utilize modern trade tools and diagnostics to ensure zero unplanned downtime.
            Reporting:
            Maintain accurate daily incident reports, equipment logs, and work order documentation. Candidate Qualifications
              Education:
              High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
                Experience:
                5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician, OR an equivalent combination of technical degree, trade school certification, and industrial apprenticeship experience.
                  Licensure:
                  Valid Driver's License.
                    Language:
                    Full professional proficiency in English.
                      Regulatory Knowledge:
                      Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and
                      MSHA/OSHA
                      safety standards.
                      Essential Physical & Environmental Demands:
                      • Ability to work in an active industrial/quarry environment, including walking on irregular surfaces, working at elevated heights, and navigating confined spaces.
                      • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 90 lbs occasionally with appropriate assistance or lift equipment.
                      • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and varying light conditions. Compensation & Benefits
                      Base Pay:
                      $34.00 - $46.00 / hour.
