Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support our aerospace manufacturing operations in New York. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical systems and equipment used in the production of aerospace components. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work in a high-precision, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including control panels, motors, PLCs, and automation equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in production machinery and facility systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines Ensure compliance with
OSHA, NFPA
70E, and aerospace industry safety and quality standards Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation Collaborate with engineers, maintenance teams, and production staff to minimize downtime Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED (technical certification or associate degree preferred) 3-7+ years of industrial electrician experience, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and industrial automation Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent) and troubleshooting control systems Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and electrical codes Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime or weekends as needed
