In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise in high-voltage wiring, fire safety systems, and electrical diagnostics will ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of all electrical infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that require precision, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to electrical safety and system performance. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduit systems, and fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial facilities. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues quickly and efficiently. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and other electrical building codes. Maintain industrial motor equipment through routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Install and configure motor control equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and other automation components. Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously during all phases of work to prevent accidents or hazards on construction sites or within operational facilities. Use hand tools, power tools, frame carpentry techniques, and construction experience to complete installations accurately. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to ensure proper system layout according to project specifications. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues involving industrial motor control systems or commercial electrical systems efficiently to minimize downtime. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in conduit installation and fire alarm systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, electrical building codes, and safety procedures. Skilled in electrical diagnostics using voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other testing devices. Experience working with high-voltage wiring systems safely in industrial or commercial environments. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor control equipment, low voltage wiring, and industrial motor maintenance. Familiarity with construction site practices including blueprint reading, framing carpentry skills, and use of power tools. Strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting techniques for complex systems involving high voltage or automation controls. Excellent adherence to electrical safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members.
