The Position:

The Industrial Electrician Journeyperson is responsible for supporting plant manufacturing operations, this includes but is not limited to diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. Electricians are also responsible for electrical installations, repair and preventative maintenance of complicated electrical equipment and circuits.

Primary Responsibilities:

Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures Responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment Analyze and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components, diagnosing and correcting the problems quickly to avoid production delays Perform electrical preventative and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment Promote teamwork and show a willingness to work with other departments Participating in continuous improvement activities Read and interpret drawings and wiring schematics Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have at least six (6) years of related experience as an Electrician or a U.S. Department of Labor Certificate of Completion in the Electrical trade. Must be able to successfully pass DMAX's pre-employment requirements. At least 18 years of age Eligible to work in the

United States Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as an Industrial Electrician PLC knowledge is preferred

Candidates must be flexible to work at both DMAX locations 3100 Dryden Rd, Moraine, OH 45439 101 W Campus Blvd, Brookville, OH 45309

Shift Details:

Candidates for this position must have availability to work 7 days a week Candidates who start in this role will be placed in one of the following shifts: 1st Shift 6:00a-2:08pm, 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:08pm, 3rd Shift 10:00p-6:08am Must be willing to work flexible shift hours and day, afternoon, or night shift as well as overtime hours daily, weekends and holidays on those shifts with little notice.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work and stand for extended periods Must wear personal protective equipment May need to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs Occasional sitting during certain tasks Drive mobile equipment

Starting Rate:

$37.00 per hour with applicable shift premiums, per union contract.
