Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction sites and renovation projects. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and safety procedures. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults efficiently. Install and connect high-voltage and low-voltage electrical wiring for residential and commercial systems. Lead safety briefings, enforce electrical safety procedures, and maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver projects on time while maintaining quality standards. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in residential and commercial settings with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, and schematic reading. Hands-on experience with electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical wiring installation. Familiarity with local electrical codes such as NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards and NEC guidelines. Construction site experience including renovation projects, new build projects, and responding to electrical service calls are highly desirable. Ability to operate and provide own power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently in fast-paced environments.
