Job Description

Job Overview Krengel Manufacturing designs, builds, and die casts a wide variety of parts for the utility, automotive and transportation industries. With over 50 years of experience, Krengel is a female-owned, privately held business headquartered in Eastlake, OH.
Duties Electrical knowledge:
Skilled with Multimeter and accessories for electrical systems diagnostics. Experience and training working with 480V, 240V 3 phase power machines, switches, breakers, and fuses. Experienced with 24V DC sensors and wiring requirements for control systems Capable of creating and repairing electrical systems, machines, lighting.
Controls and PLC knowledge:
Understand PLC coding Ability to diagnose PLC issues for both simple and moderately complex systems. Capable of using RSLogix 500 / 5000 software Experience creating PLC systems
Additional:
Inspects machinery and mechanical equipment for defects Dismantles machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts and repairs them Able to clearly document work performed. Comply with all company policies and procedures Comply with all safety procedures and PPE requirements Maintain an exceptionally clean and orderly work area Qualifications 3 or more years experience in manufacturing environment preferred Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures High School Diploma or GED Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively. Ability to climb ladders, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. (not constantly)
