An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description

Now hiring Electricians for a manufacturing company in Minerva. Afternoon and Evening shifts are available. Weekly pay starting at $18 per hour, but could be more depending on experience.
Job Duties:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on foundry equipment, machinery, and production lines. Install, maintain, and repair motors, control panels, PLC systems, conveyors, furnaces, and automated equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and industrial machinery. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing equipment such as multimeters and voltage testers. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and electrical codes. Assist with equipment upgrades, machine installations, and process improvements. Respond quickly to equipment downtime to minimize production interruptions. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation. Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to support plant operations. Any other task requested by a supervisor.
Requirements:
Previous Electrician experience is required. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to problem-solve. Applicants must have their own transportation and submit a resume.
