293522828 Report this job Apply Now Save To My Profile Email Print Job Description Casey Equipment is seeking an Electrical Motor Technician (Electric Motor Rebuilder). You will work to rebuild electric motors, assemble, and complete testing. This position is ideal for an electrician who is interested in learning electric motor repair and rebuilding.
Key Responsibilities:
Disassemble motors to process individual components. Utilize power washing equipment to clean motor parts and castings, removing grease and dirt. Operate sandblasting units to strip paint and grime from motor casings and small components as required. Apply insulating and colored spray paint to motor parts for protection and finishing. Perform precision tasks such as undercutting armature slots and balancing armatures before assembly. Assemble reconditioned components to meet rigorous quality standards. Install wiring and wrap connections during the assembly process. Test complete motor units, verify performance, and accurately document results. Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and hand carts to move items of various weights. Build secure skids and packaging boxes for motor shipment using circular saws and hand tools. Record time and tasks accurately to ensure proper job tracking. Utilize hand tools, including wrenches, wire cutters, screwdrivers, and pneumatic air tools, to complete assignments effectively. Handle materials weighing between 21-50 lbs. as part of routine tasks.
Qualifications:
Experience working with tools and machinery is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to safely operate power tools, machinery, and heavy equipment. Physical capability to handle medium-weight materials regularly. Must be able to pass a physical and drug test.
Additional Details:
Worksite location: Struthers, Ohio All positions are on-site and in-person; remote work is not available
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Hourly Rate:
$22.00
Overtime:
May be required on an as-needed basis Benefits (available upon completion of a successful 90-day introductory period): Life, AD&D, Short-Term Disability (STD), and Long-Term Disability (LTD): 100% employer-paid; enrollment is mandatory.
Voluntary Life Insurance:
100% employee-paid; enrollment is optional.
Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance:
Available to eligible employees, with Casey Equipment paying a portion of the monthly premiums.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination and drug screening, with satisfactory results required prior to employment. Employees must also successfully complete a 90-day introductory period to remain employed and become eligible for company benefits.
