Job Title:
Electrician - New Construction (Contract)Pay:
$35/hr. 48 hours to start, additional OT to follow This contract role offers experienced electricians the opportunity to support a large new construction project at an industrial soy bean facility. You will focus primarily on running rigid conduit at height across multiple work packages on a busy construction campus. Both local electricians and travelers are welcome. Responsibilities Install and run rigid conduit throughout a new construction industrial facility, ensuring accurate layout and secure installation. Interpret drawings and instructions to plan conduit routes and complete pipe runs efficiently and safely. Work at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment, including harnesses and lanyards. Coordinate with other trades and team members to complete assigned work packages across the construction campus. Inspect completed conduit installations for quality, alignment, and compliance with project standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment responsibly. Follow all site safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of PPE and fall protection systems. Adapt to a structured work schedule, currently consisting of four 10-hour days and one 8-hour day per week. Essential Skills At least 3 years of experience in new construction electrical work. Proven experience running rigid conduit in industrial or commercial environments. Ability to work safely and effectively at heights using fall protection equipment. Strong understanding of basic electrical construction practices related to conduit installation. Capability to read and follow instructions and layouts related to conduit routing. Reliability and consistency in adhering to a multi-day, extended-hour work schedule. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience on large industrial or campus-style construction projects. Comfort working across multiple contracts or work packages within a single facility. Willingness to travel for temporary contract work and work as a traveler with per diem. Adaptability to changing site conditions and coordination with various project teams. Why Work Here? You will work outdoors and indoors as required by the project, in typical construction conditions, using standard electrical and conduit installation tools and equipment. Appropriate workwear and PPE suitable for an industrial construction site are expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tiffin, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
