Pay & Schedule Pay:

$26.00-$38.00+ per hour based on experience

Shift Differential:

Additional $1.50 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts 2nd Shift 1:55 PM - 10:00 PM Monday-Friday , plus overtime. Weekend coverage may be a part of the schedule. 3rd Shift 9:55 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday-Thursday, plus overtime. Weekend coverage may be a part of the schedule. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot and/or repair any of a variety of electrical equipment (i.e., motors, controllers, etc.), hydraulic and mechanical devices per all OSHA requirements. Interpret blueprints or other written specifications for electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic applications. Install and/or repair all types of plumbing (i.e., water, gas, steamline, hydraulic, etc.). Use safe practices in repairing, checking equipment using safety tagout-lockout procedure. Comply with all safety and housekeeping standards — Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Equipment Safety Analysis (ESA) and Area Safety Analysis (ASA). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-2 years of maintenance experience preferred. Journeyman certification or technical training is a plus. Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, volt meters, and amp probes. Welding experience (Stick and TIG preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Self-motivated and dependable. Physical Requirements Work overtime as needed Work at heights of 10 to 50 feet. Must supply own hand tools. Dirty/oily working environments. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of a non-repetitive nature Must practice safety lockout/tagout procedure when working on equipment. Sometimes required to work alone - other times work very close with others. Able to cope with stringent deadlines for equipment needed back in service. Ability to work while wearing a respirator. (Physical exam required.) Good eye/hand coordination, dexterity and adroitness.
