What You'll Do
Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture Knowledgeable in industrial controls, 3-phase power, PLCs, VFDs, distribution switchgear, and instrumentation Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment, hand tools and personal knowledge to determine root cause Performs necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts, adjustments and calibration procedures, assemble, install, test and execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment Provides technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed Use SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties, utilize computers to acquire information, documentation, account for time and corrective actions Works with related diagnostic equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other electronic tools and equipment Install, monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability of all electrical, electronic control systems and components, process equipment, and AC/DC utilities Ensure all electrical work complies with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and CMC safety standards What You'll Need
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in heights for extended periods of time Ability to think logically, analytically and solve problems Electrical controls maintenance and repair proficiency Knowledge of the melting, casting and rolling process and related equipment preferred MRO system; SAP system experience preferred Must have experience with and the ability to demonstrate electrical and mechanical maintenance principles, concepts, and troubleshooting techniques including a working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Siemens and/or other PLC troubleshooting experience preferred Strong multitasking abilities Work rotating shifts which include weekends and holidays Ability to read and follow technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic Competent in the use of hand tools as well as electrical and electronic test equipment Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team with appropriate departments/individuals Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience preferred Your Education
