Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical work across various commercial projects, ensuring all installations and repairs meet safety standards and code requirements. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex electrical systems, read blueprints accurately, and contribute to the successful completion of commercial electrical projects. Duties Perform electrical work including wiring, conduit installation, and system connections in commercial settings. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems to ensure optimal operation. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to complete projects on time and within scope. Adhere to all safety protocols and electrical codes during installation and maintenance activities. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a safe and organized manner. Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license. Proven experience in electrical work, particularly within commercial environments. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams. Knowledge of commercial electrical systems, wiring practices, and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety standards and continuous learning in the electrical trade.
Pay:
$32.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
