In this role, you will be responsible for diagnostics and upgrading of electrical systems. Your expertise will ensure the reliable infrastructure upgrades. The ideal candidate will possess advanced ability to interpret detailed schematics and technical drawings to insure proper installation of upgraded electrical systems. This position requires the ability to oversee a project start to finish alongside the knowledge and experience to help the installation. Responsibilities Review electrical schematics and circuit diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation to support project design and documentation. Delegate project duties from start to completion for an entire electrical systems upgrade. Manage a team of experienced hands. Lead project scheduling efforts for electrical tasks, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project deadlines. Assemble, solder surface mount technology (SMT), and wire electrical components utilizing hand tools and soldering equipment with precision. Maintain, repair & install electrical systems and equipment, including advanced automated systems, industrial machinery, and control panels. Execute debugging procedures on complex electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Support team by ensuring electrical wiring adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety regulations. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime and extend operational lifespan. Document technical procedures, schematics, and maintenance records accurately for compliance and future reference. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role with a strong background in electrical systems within manufacturing or industrial environments. Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles, schematics interpretation, and circuit design. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks for creating detailed drawings. Hands-on experience with PCB design, surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and assembly processes. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), scripting languages like Python, and automation protocols. Strong understanding of NEC standards along with mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and installation. Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and multimeters. Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills for collaboration across engineering disciplines and technical documentation.
