Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and residential construction sites. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and building codes while supporting the seamless operation of electrical infrastructure. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics to identify issues efficiently Follow electrical safety procedures in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards during all phases of work Install electrical building systems including wiring for lighting, power distribution, control panels, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete construction tasks such as framing carpentry related to electrical installations Adhere to electrical building codes and low-voltage requirements while ensuring compliance with all local regulations and safety protocols Experience Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in residential and commercial electrical work Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring, troubleshooting electrical systems, and reading complex blueprints Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics for accurate troubleshooting Construction site experience with the ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments while maintaining safety standards Ability to perform high-quality electrical diagnostics and repairs using a variety of hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, power drills, and frame carpentry tools Join us if you're ready to bring your expert electrical skills to impactful projects that power industries!
