Neil Kelly Solar Skills & Qualifications:
Journey-Level Electrician; must be licensed in both Oregon and Washington Experience with solar electrical systems. Experience in commercial installations. Reliable, punctual, and collaborative team player. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. Ability to read and interpret site plans and single-line diagrams. Comfortable with physical aspects of the role, which may include carrying, lifting (up to 50 lbs unassisted), climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and working at heights. Job site conditions may vary. Valid driver's license, good driving record and proof of insurance; regular travel between job sites is required (company van provided).
Day-to-Day Duties:
Install, retrofit, and trouble-shoot residential and commercial electrical systems, including solar PV systems, panel and service replacements, battery storage systems and EV chargers. Install wiring, circuits, provide disconnects, and meters per
NEC / OESC.
Supervise and train Apprentices as required. Complete all necessary paperwork. Meet Neil Kelly Safety standards. Knowledge of electrical codes a requirement. Additional responsibilities as directed.
