The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring that all electrical installations meet industry standards and regulations. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and optimize equipment performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately. Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards while performing all tasks. Collaborate with client teams on-site to ensure timely project completion. Handle high voltage and low voltage systems safely and efficiently. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical work. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred. Experience working on industrial facilities and construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters effectively. Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
