An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.
Industrial Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist As night settles over Atglen, you arrive at 11:00 p.m. ready to keep our sustainable packaging operation humming. You start with safety, then make the rounds—listening for unusual vibrations, checking gauges, measuring wear, lubricating and repositioning components so the line is ready for another shift of precise, reliable performance. When a call comes in, you move—diagnosing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system issues with speed and accuracy, referencing technical manuals, and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors when the situation calls for it. You finish the night documenting maintenance work and sharing insights with your teammates and supervisor so the plant stays ahead of the next challenge.

Execute preventive maintenance:
lubricate equipment, measure wear and positions, adjust and reposition components, and continuously observe operations for abnormal noise or vibration. Respond to emergency and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime; consult equipment manuals and technical literature as needed. Partner with vendors and subcontractors to achieve reliable repair outcomes. Use measurement and test equipment with precision. Repair and install electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system components. Operate the boiler safely and maintain adequate steam pressure. Complete accurate maintenance records and related documentation. Troubleshoot methodically, collaborate with teammates, and keep supervision informed of issues or unusual situations. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You'll Bring The ability to read, write, and speak English. Accurate use of a wide range of measuring devices.
