JOULE is seeking a skilled electrical technician for an industrial manufacturing client in Bath, PA! Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic equipment
Install, calibrate, and modify electrical components, instrumentation, and controls
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and work orders
Install power and control wiring, conduit, and cable tray systems
Perform preventative maintenance on generators, traction motors, and related equipment
Inspect, service, and repair electric motors, including bearing replacement and lubrication
Complete required maintenance documentation and work orders
Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following all company safety procedures
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience
High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical training preferred)
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
Ability to successfully pass the Electronic Technician A assessment (multiple choice exam with electrical diagram interpretation)
Experience with industrial electric motors (installation and troubleshooting), PID controllers, 480V power distribution, and 4160V switchgear is highly desired
Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments
Work comfortably around dust, noise, heat, and varying environmental conditions
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and elevated walkways and work at heights
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
Wearing required PPE, including respirators and safety equipment
