An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. New employees start at $31.50/hour and increase to full rate after one year. 2+ Years Technical Training in Electrical Maintenance and Repair Techniques 3+ Years Hands On Electrical DC Crane Maintenance Experience The candidate, under limited supervision, with minimal technical guidance, will be responsible for breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance activities throughout the plant, and may provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff. Specific skills include electrical circuit board repair, electrical controls, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and electrical. Duties include installation, maintenance, and repair of production or processing equipment. Candidates must have hands-on electrical experience to be considered for this position. Other duties may include the following fabricate machines guards, install or repair conveyors, replace motors, tear down or replace pumps, maintain fluid collection of distribution equipment or repair electro-mechanical equipment.
