Job Description

Job Summary:
This position will provide project support to the Plant Engineering staff and to all CCM manufacturing sites. This individual will routinely assess, monitor, and enhance the maintenance performance at each plant via project related interaction or designated periodic tasks. Technical assistance will be manifested with the refinement and optimization of manufacturing equipment/facilities through improved and more consistent application of best maintenance practices. Standard hours of operation Monday - Friday 8 am to 5pm with 30% travel requirement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Standardizes preventive and predictive maintenance programs and practices at all CCM manufacturing operations.
  • Institutes preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
  • Conducts equipment installation coordination/supervision associated with department project assignments.
  • Monitors significant plant downtime events and provide or coordinates assistance as necessary.
  • Processes and production equipment troubleshooting.
  • Participates in ongoing routine dialog with maintenance personnel at the respective CCM manufacturing facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • In depth knowledge of cost control and procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of construction principles.
  • Knowledge of general engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls fundamentals.
Education and Experience:
    Required:
    o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.o Five to ten years of plant maintenance responsibilities with emphasis on preventive programs and major maintenance project planning and implementation.
