Job Description

Journeyman Electrician — Harrisburg, PA $27-$34/hour, depending on experience J.M. Reist Electrical is a privately owned, master-licensed merit shop electrical contractor serving central Pennsylvania since 2014. We're hiring full-time Journeyman Electricians to join our crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. Most job sites are within an hour of Harrisburg — you're home every night, with no service or on-call rotation. What we offer Company-provided power tools, test equipment, and PPE — you bring hand tools, your cordless drill/impact, and your boots Health insurance 401(k) with company match Two weeks paid vacation 7 paid holidays, growing to 10 with tenure Steady, year-round work with long-standing repeat clients across central PA What you'll do Install, test, and troubleshoot wiring, panelboards, switchgear, devices, and fixtures Bend and run conduit, and pull wire Read and work from blueprints and specifications Install fire alarm and telecommunications systems Diagnose faults with a meter and drive them to resolution Operate lifts and telehandlers, and other equipment as assigned Recognize and report change-order or out-of-scope work to your foreman before doing it Follow lockout/tagout and safe work practices — and you have full authority to stop any unsafe work Keep your tools and assigned vehicle in working order What you need Journeyman electrician card (required) Completed apprenticeship or two-year trade/vocational program — IEC apprenticeship graduates preferred Commercial experience preferred Working knowledge of the 2020 NEC Own hand tools, cordless drill and impact (additional cordless tools a plus) Valid PA driver's license and clean driving record Pre-employment drug screen and skills assessment • To apply: Email your resume to office@reistelectric.com
