Role Description :

The Lead Electrician is a full-time, on-site role based in Lancaster, PA, responsible for supervising and performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across residential, commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing electrical work, leading and mentoring electricians and apprentices, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with codes and company standards. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, coordinating with project managers and customers, and providing clear explanations of work performed and options available. The Lead Electrician also supports emergency and scheduled service calls, maintains accurate documentation of work, and promotes a culture of safety, quality, and customer-focused service. Qualifications Strong foundation in electricity and electrical engineering principles, with the ability to apply them in practical field situations. Proficiency in electrical work, including installation, wiring, panel work, and system upgrades in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Experience in maintenance & repair, including routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective work on electrical systems and equipment. Advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose, assess, and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently and safely. Valid journeyperson or master electrician license (or equivalent), and familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes. Demonstrated leadership ability to supervise crews, train team members, and coordinate multiple jobs simultaneously. Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of tools, PPE, and adherence to company and regulatory safety standards. Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, teammates, and management, and for documenting work clearly. Ability to work on-site, handle physical demands of the job, and respond to occasional after-hours or emergency service needs. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; prior experience in a service-oriented electrical contractor environment is beneficial.

Pay:

$32.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
