Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Lead Commercial Electricians for immediate hire in the Allentown, PA area.

$35-$40/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS:
Shifts will be 8.5-hour workdays (Plus Overtime) 5+ days per week

Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 6:30 am-3:00 pm

Long Term/Temp-to-Perm Lead Electrician Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Lead Commercial Electrician with 6+ years of commercial electrical experience. The Lead Electrician will be responsible for leading commercial electrical installations, renovations, service work, troubleshooting, and project completion. Must be able to independently manage electrical work in the field, read plans and specifications, coordinate with other trades, and provide direction to electricians and apprentices. Qualifications for
Lead Electrician:
6+ years of electrical experience in a commercial setting. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction and service. Ability to independently read blueprints, electrical drawings, plans, and specifications. Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices. Proficiency with conduit installation and commercial wiring. Experience with panels, distribution equipment, transformers, lighting, and controls. Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and identify problems quickly. Ability to install and troubleshoot single- and three-phase electrical systems. Previous experience leading jobs, crews, or other electricians preferred. Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE. Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves. Must have standard electrical hand tools.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with commercial/industrial facilities, warehouses, office buildings, retail facilities, generators, motor controls, low-voltage systems, energy management systems, and electrical upgrades is highly desirable. Additional Requirements for
Lead Electrician:
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site. Drug and background screening required.
